Night stallions bring twisted day dreams

18 02 2009

This one is a headache and a half. Really Really I’m not happy with it, but I’m very interested in it.

The snow witch
stalks through mist,
leaves as warning
a trail of wet rubies.

Here-wolves mutter
in fear and in lust
as they wait
for the leaching sun.

Rapunzel Rapunzel –
throws herself down,
a murder of crows
cackle, far above
her bone-white tower

Hansel and Gretel
poison their crumbs,
the forest birds hail
in a storm of flesh.

Cannibal mermaids gorge
and litter fish spines.
Plump arms glow,
wave watery
from graves below.
